Autonomous Drone
 

This project was created with the goal of developing an autonomous drone that utilizes visual SLAM (Simultaneous localization and mapping) in order to avoid obstacles with zero user input. The use case could potentially be finding missing persons, scanning environments humans can't enter, and much more. The design features four stereo vision cameras to transmit video data to a central computer which processes it through a ROS (robotic operating system) program.
